Calgary, ALBERTA – January 15, 2012 - We are now into the second week of the round 2 CSL and as expected the University of Calgary took a victory over San Francisco State University. This brings the University of Calgary’s record to a 9-1 for season 2 of the CSL and the way things are going right now, chances of making the playoffs seem like an easy feat for the University of Calgary!

[CSL] Round 2 – Week 1

Calgary, ALBERTA – January 10, 2012 - Round 2 of the CSL has officially started for the University of Calgary and the first match was against the California Institute of Technology. With the Barrett “briancooklol” Kennedy, planning well in advance on which players to feature on which map, an easy victory of 3 to 1 was achieved by the University of Calgary. What a great way to start off the term!

Hwaseung Oz Refunds

Calgary, ALBERTA – January 10, 2012 - As of this post, all issues with Hwaseung Oz orders have been cleaned up. Anyone who has sent an email through the Contact Form has been refunded and a confirmation request has been sent via PayPal. As I have had to deal with hundreds of orders there are chances that I might have missed one or two if that is the case please use the Contact Form to send an email with the PayPal account you would like the refund to be sent to as well as your original order ID.

UofC StarCraft Club Update

Calgary, ALBERTA – January 6, 2012 - The University of Calgary StarCraft club executives plan to have a more eventful term for the Winter 2012 term since most of the kinks were worked out during the first term. This includes but is not limited to the things listed below:

League of Legends roster will be introduced and club members can not only get together for SC2 but LoL as well. To get yourself listed on the roster please go here and post a reply.
Weekly hangouts at the local LAN center will start up late January.
First official club meeting of the year will take place near the end of January as well.

Now, there’s a bunch of other business with regards to the club that needs to be taken care of (membership fees, club week, new/old executives, etc) and those will be all sorted out by the end of club week which I believe is scheduled from January 16th to January 20th. That’s it for now and remember to check you emails frequently for updates about the club from the StarCraftMecca email address!

Website Maintenance

Calgary, ALBERTA – January 6, 2012 - The website is finally bug free for the most part and I’ll be adding in a few extra sections here and there to prepare for the future of StarCraftMecca. I’ve been working on getting a forum that is linked with the site itself and it’s proving to be a challenge but ETA for it is roughly mid to late February. That’s all there is for now, this post is mainly just a test post to see how the site behaves so I’ll be posting more once everything is near completion.
